DXH Container: Container Pool Case Study

This case study showcases a container pool solution designed by DXH Container for a client. The client required a comprehensive pool system that could be delivered, installed, and operational within a tight timeline. DXH Container provided an innovative modular container pool constructed from repurposed containers, featuring an integrated filtration and water management system. This solution combines design, versatility, and rapid deployment, making it suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Client Requirements

The project required a rapidly deployable pool that could be set up with minimal site preparation and avoid lengthy construction cycles. The facility is a turnkey solution featuring professional water treatment capabilities, a modern aesthetic, and minimal maintenance requirements. Due to space constraints, the pool had to provide sufficient swimming area while adhering to specific dimensional parameters.

Container Pool Structure

Container Pool Key Features and Benefits

1. Grade A Structural Steel

Every container pool is sandblasted and primed before any finish coat is applied, built to last decades, not years.

2. Hygienic 304 Stainless Steel Pool Shell

The container pool basin is lined with stainless steel flat panels, fully hem-welded for a watertight seal. A mosaic-pattern PVC pool liner is then installed over the steel surface using pool-grade adhesive and hot-air welding — eliminating seams, preventing algae buildup.

3. Complete Filtration and Water Treatment System

  • • A dedicated pool circulation pump sized for the tank volume
  • • Sand filter cylinder with manual-switching head (excluding filter material quartz sand)
  • • Automatic dosing and disinfection system with dispenser (excluding special disinfectant tablets and consumables)
  • • 50 type fisheye universal spray nozzles (×4) and 90° corner return outlets (×2)
  • • Surface skimmer for floating debris collection
  • • Full U-PVC ball valve network (63 and 50 type) for isolation and flow control

4. WPC Exterior Cladding

The exterior facade is finished with Great Wall WPC (wood-plastic composite) wall panels and WPC decking on the top platform - no painting, no rotting, no splintering.

Container Pool Installation Overview

We use a plug-and-play design concept for container pools. In most cases, you can use the following steps to complete the installation:

  • Site preparation: Level the ground; if a partially or fully in-ground installation is required, pour a simple concrete pad.
  • Crane Placement: Use a standard mobile crane to lift the container pool and place it on the prepared foundation.
  • Electrical Connection: Connect the pre-installed electrical distribution box to your on-site power supply.
  • Plumbing Connections: Connect external water supply and drainage pipes to the pre-installed U-PVC fittings.
  • Filling and Commissioning: Fill the pool, run the filtration system, add disinfectant, and test all lights and jets.

DXH Container provides comprehensive installation documentation and remote technical support. A complete online installation guide and video demonstrations are provided with every order.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Maintenance Does a Container Pool Require?

Routine maintenance includes weekly water quality testing, filter backwashing every 2-3 weeks, and periodic cleaning. The integrated filtration system handles daily operations automatically. Maintenance requirements are comparable to or lower than those of a traditional pool of equivalent size.

Can Container Swimming Pools Be Customized?

DXH Container offers multiple size options, interior finishes, and equipment configurations. We can modify container length, add windows, integrate heating systems, and adjust depth to meet specific project requirements.

What Type of Foundation Does a Container Pool Require?

Ground installations require a compacted gravel base or concrete slab. Elevated installations necessitate an engineered support structure designed for the pool's weight when filled with water (specific to size).

How Does the Cost Compare to Traditional Pools?

Considering excavation, permits, construction time, and finishing costs, container pools typically cost 40-60% less than equivalent concrete structures.
